WhatsApp new update 'Mute Video' Feature is coming soon

WhatsApp Messenger is a messaging platform and Voice over IP service owned by Facebook. It allows user to send and receive text messages and voice messages. Make video and voice calls. Share documents, images, files and other media. In January 2018, whatsApp came up with its new standalone buisness app to target the small buisness owners called, WhatsApp Buisness. It allows companies to communicate with the customers and clients.

WhatsApp is always trying to upgrade its feature now and then. In early 2020, whatsApp added new feature of ‘dark mode’ for Iphone and Android users. In October 2020, WhatsApp has rolled out a feature that allow users to mute both individuals and group chats forever. The mute chat settings now show ‘8 hours’, ‘1 week’, and ‘Always’ options. The ‘Always’ option replaces the ‘1 year’ option that was originally part of the settings. This new feature is present on both iOS and Android devices, as well as on WhatsApp web.

New Feature ‘Mute Video’

Now WhatsApp is ready to launch its new feature that is ‘Mute Video’ feature. This will let you to mute your video before putting it on your status. The new feature was recently spotted on the WhatsApp beta for Android by WABetaInfo. It further claims that the new feature will be introduced in the future update.

The new feature is still under development; however, we can expect this new feature to be available soon in the future. The mute video feature is already available on other social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter.

Moreover, WhatsApp recently announced Disappearing Messages. With Disappearing Messages feature mode on, it will remove all images, videos after seven days.
