Spider-Man 3: Peter Parker (Tom Holland) visiting MJ (Zendaya) during the holiday season. Which seems to be the setting of the film, is revealed in new Spider-Man 3 set images.
Spider-Man 3 of the MCU is reportedly expected to debut at the end of this year. And shooting has been ongoing for a few months now. Most of the hype has covered the vast supporting cast of the film so far. Which will draw on previous Spider-Man films. Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, for instance, along with Kirsten Dunst, Emma Stone. And Jamie Foxx, have recently been in talks. That, plus the inclusion of Doctor Strange by Benedict Cumberbatch. He has obviously confirmed that Spider-Man 3 will plunge into the multiverse.
Among the many casting rumors that have arisen, it’s easy to forget that Spider-Man 3 is going to focus first and foremost on Holland’s Peter. He will be joined by several familiar faces, such as Aunt May (Marisa Tomei). Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon), and MJ, from his past MCU adventures. For the previous Spider-Man: Far From Home installment, Peter will surely need all the help he can get. As it ended with Peter being revealed to the world as Spider-Man. And also framed for the murder of Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal).
These new Spider-Man 3 collection images present a very fascinating scenario with that in mind. Just recently, Jared caught sight of Holland and Zendaya on the set of a donut shop. Peter is seen going inside the store, according to the report. With the intention of talking to MJ, who is working alongside Ned there. In addition, Atlanta Filming provided a clear shot of the outside of the donut shop, including Christmas decorations. Obviously, at least a portion of Spider-Man 3 will take place at Christmas time. Probably giving their first proper Christmas movie to the MCU. Have a look at the pics below.

The donut shop meeting between Peter and MJ has some interesting consequences for Spider-Man 3. Many thought that the end of Far From Home will lead Peter to go on the run, or at least to distance himself from those he loves. The pictures, however, reveal Peter showing his face in public willingly. Maybe this happens if he manages to clear his name? Another plausible possibility is that Peter is actually prepared to accept any repercussions that might occur only so that he can see MJ. Hopefully, with the two having gathered at the end of Far From Home, they are still going high.
This scene does confirm that Spider-Man 3 will have a holiday slant, regardless of where this scene takes place in the film, even if it’s just for a few minutes. The December release date could be ideal in that context. Spider-Man 3 had once been planned for release in July, but some reshuffling was prompted by the coronavirus pandemic. Hopefully, Spider-Man 3 will stay in place for December, so fans can celebrate during the holiday season for another occasion.
