Every Legends story should be known and now India’s one of the finest batsmen known as Hitman, Rohit Sharma’s book has been launched. The book speaks about all the achievements of Rohit Sharma and all the hardships of him. The book has been titled as ‘The Hitman: The Rohit Sharma Story’. This book is written by Lokapally and G. Krishnan & published by Bloomsbury.

The book has been released on 22 November, 2020 on ThePrint’s SoftCover. From the day he made his debut from 2007, the book speaks how Rohit became one of the vital pillar of the game in India. Rohit is an indisputable star, and recently led the Mumbai Indians to their fifth Indian Premier League title. Moreover all of which have come under his captaincy. He also won a title with the Deccan Chargers in 2009.

The authors of the book are 2 senior sports journalists. They are Vijay Lokapally and G. Krishnan who brought the story into light. His years of hard work and his confidence to fans in the form of a new book titled Hitman: The Rohit Sharma Story. Lokapally has been covering cricket around the world for nearly four decades now.

And is one of India’s most respected writers on the game. Krishnan, too, is a well-known journalist with nearly two decades of experience. “His combination of aggression and caution, his lazy elegance and his deadly shots have brought a whiff of fresh air to the cricket field,” the authors write in the book. While this is Krishnan’s first book, it is Lokapally’s fifth.

The book traces the Mumbai cricketer’s journey from when he entered the game. Also on how his rise coincided with decline and eventual departure of Sachin Tendulkar.
